Next Generation Briefing Tools
JAXA’s world-first 3D visualization technology combined with airline company operational know-how
This service supports safe and efficient aircraft operations by incorporating “Lightning Danger Area Prediction Technology”.
Easy-to-understand 3D representation of various weather conditions
Various weather conditions such as rain and clouds, including areas at risk of lightning strikes, are clearly represented in 3D.
By selecting and overlaying each condition, it is possible to intuitively grasp the current weather conditions.
Tracking
Dispatchers can check the aircraft's position from the ground and give accurate advice to avoid bad weather conditions such as rain clouds and thunderstorms.
Weather advice can be given based on the traffic flow, and you can compareplanned flight routes with actual tracking.
Pilot View
The simulation can be performed from the pilot‘s point of view, allowing for arealistic understanding of the weather on the day of the flight.
The quality of the pre-flight briefing will be improved because it will be possible to imagine bad weather and think in advance about how to avoid it.
It leads to quick and accurate decision-making during the flight.
3D Image of Jetstream
The turbulence area, called CAT, can be confirmed and reflected in flight plans in advance.
Flight crews can also take precautionary measures against turbulence by having a more realistic grasp of weather conditions in advance.
3D Image of Lightning Risk
Indicates an area where planes are likely to be struck by lightning. Allows the aircraft to pass safely through the area without risk.
It also reduces the economic burden of maintenance work that would have occurred.
This is one of the most advanced services in the world and is under developmentwith a major full-service carrier.

Briefing available at any time
3D ARVI is portable on mobile devices. Get the latest weather information not only in the office,
but also while at home, on business trips, and even on the plane if you are online.
Support quick and optimal decision making
ARVI supports airlines in achieving safe flight operations and efficient decision-making
by displaying weather and disaster information on a single screen,
which can have a significant impact on flight operations.
Weather x Flight Plan
By overlaying weather and flight plans, you can instantly see the weather affecting your flight.
Diverse weather data
It improves operational efficiency by working smoothly even when large amounts of weather data are stacked on top of each other.
Cross-sectional mode
View meteorological cross sections, which are important for altitude selection, according to the flight plan.
